Benidorm has plenty of terraces, but few true rooftops. If you are looking for a rooftop bar in Benidorm for a drink with a view, our favourite candidate is the Selvático Rooftop: a tropical bar on the 17th floor of Hotel Primavera Park (Calle Primavera, 4), facing the skyline and the bay. And the best part for visitors: you do not need to stay at the hotel to go up.

How to visit without being a guest

According to the Selvático's own official website, the rooftop welcomes external visitors. It is not a private club or a paid viewing platform: it is a bar open to the public with two clear conditions. First: a drink purchase is required to sit down. Second: they do not take bookings; entry is first come, first served and depends on availability, so on high-season sunsets it pays to arrive early.

The published opening hours are Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 to midnight, and Friday and Saturday, 10:00 to 1:00. Coffee service ends at 16:00. For any one-off changes (events, partial closures), the reliable reference is the Selvático's official website.

The rules, no surprises

The hotel publishes clear rules worth knowing before you go up: adults only (no minors), no pets and no fancy dress — a useful warning in a city with as many stag and hen parties as Benidorm.

What to expect up there

The Selvático is a bar, not a restaurant: cocktails and drinks among tropical greenery, with the panorama as the protagonist. If your plan includes dinner, the hotel itself recommends heading down to the Exótico restaurant on the ground floor, also open to non-guests. Sunset upstairs plus dinner downstairs is, in our view, the best "hotel night" you can have in Benidorm without sleeping in one.

The best moment? For us, sunset: the light drops over the bay and the skyline lights up. That is editorial opinion, yes, but few rooftops in the city combine this height, this design and this front-row view.
