Hotel Primavera Park is a 4-star superior, 17-storey hotel in the very centre of Benidorm, next to the Town Hall and a short walk from Levante beach. It has earned the label of Benidorm's benchmark hotel — a sustained 9.0 on Booking backs it up — and its signature is right at the top: the Selvático Rooftop, a rooftop terrace with an infinity pool that looks out over the Mediterranean above the skyline. Downstairs, the Exótico restaurant and a tropical bar round out a hotel designed for couples and travellers looking for more than a bed near the beach.
This guide is independent: we are not the hotel's official website. We compile what the hotel itself publishes, what thousands of verified reviews say and what is worth checking before you book.

1. Selvático Rooftop and the infinity pool
If Primavera Park keeps showing up in photos of Benidorm, this is why. On the 17th floor sits the Selvático Rooftop: a terrace with a sea-facing infinity pool, a lounger area, a cocktail bar and a panorama that takes in the skyline, the bay and Benidorm island.
The practical details the hotel publishes:
- Adults only, and no pets allowed.
- The pool is for hotel guests only.
- Non-guests can go up to the rooftop bar in the afternoons; non-guest hours are best confirmed directly.
- In the afternoon a smart-casual dress code applies (no costumes, no stag or hen parties).
We have a full guide dedicated to this rooftop: Selvático Rooftop: the infinity pool above Benidorm.
2. Exótico restaurant and Oasis Bar
The hotel's dining bet is called Exótico: creative international cuisine in a dining room of botanical murals, wicker and warm light. It has its own à la carte menu, options for special diets and a bar counter aimed at guests and locals alike.
It is complemented by the Oasis Bar next to the main pool, the chill-out terrace and something rare in a beach city hotel: the Thai Room, where massages can be booked. There is also a gym for anyone keeping up a routine.
3. The rooms: five types
The hotel spreads more than 200 rooms across 17 floors and organises them into five types, from the functional double to the Sunset Ático, with a freestanding bathtub facing one of the best Mediterranean views in town. Many rooms have panoramic city or sea views, and the design — wood, sand tones, botanical textiles — follows the same line as the rest of the hotel.
To compare types, beds and photos of each room, the most reliable source is the rooms page on the official website.
4. Services and amenities: more than a beach city hotel
What separates Primavera Park from the usual beach city hotel is the sum of its spaces. This is what the hotel publishes as its services:
- Selvático Rooftop (17th floor): infinity pool, loungers and cocktail bar, adults only.
- Exótico restaurant: creative international cuisine, with options for special diets.
- Oasis Bar by the main pool and a chill-out terrace.
- Thai Room: the hotel's massage room, a rarity in an urban Benidorm hotel.
- Gym to keep your routine during the stay.
- Club Primavera Selection, its loyalty programme, and direct-channel offers such as the "NOMADAS" code for work stays.
The combination of rooftop, dining and wellness explains much of its 9.0 on Booking: this is a hotel designed to be lived in, not just slept in.
5. Location: the centre, close to everything
The hotel is at Calle Primavera, 4, next to Benidorm Town Hall. That puts it in a rare position: city centre and beach at once. Mal Pas beach is about 700 metres away; Levante and the old town, with its tapas lanes and the Castle viewpoint, are within walking distance. Alicante-Elche airport is about 47 km away, roughly 40 minutes by car.
If you are comparing areas, our guide Where to stay in Benidorm explains what each area offers and why the centre works so well for couples' getaways.
6. What the reviews say
The public numbers are solid: 9.0 out of 10 on Booking with more than 3,500 verified reviews and around 4.2 out of 5 on Google, with over two thousand ratings. The most consistently praised aspects are location, cleanliness, staff and the rooftop; value for money is where perception varies most by season.
9.0 on Booking and a rooftop that shows up in every review: few city hotels on the Costa Blanca sustain that combination.
7. How to book (and why on the official site)
The hotel also sells through agencies and metasearch engines, but it recommends its direct channel, where it publishes offers and promo codes that do not always appear on intermediaries (for example, discounts for longer work stays). Booking on the official website also tends to make date changes, specific room requests and direct contact with reception easier. The hotel also runs a loyalty club, Primavera Selection.
