Some views explain a whole city. From the 17th floor of Hotel Primavera Park, the Selvático Rooftop sums up Benidorm at a glance: the skyscrapers, the crescent-shaped bay, the island on the horizon and, in the foreground, an infinity pool that seems to pour straight into the Mediterranean.

It is the hotel's most shared image and one of the city's most repeated sunset plans. Here is everything worth knowing before going up.

The infinity pool: the first thing to know

The Selvático's infinity pool is for hotel guests only. It is not a paid beach club or a public viewpoint: swimming in it is part of the experience of staying at Primavera Park. Next to the water there is a lounger area for sunbathing with the panorama in front of you.

If the photo you want is swimming with the skyline behind you, the only way in is booking a stay at the hotel.

Not staying? The rooftop bar in the afternoon

The good news: the hotel opens the rooftop to outside visitors in the afternoons. You can go up for a cocktail and enjoy the panorama without being a guest, with some clear rules the hotel itself publishes:

For celebrations and private events, the hotel can be reached at comercial@primaverahotels.com.

Benidorm skyline and bay seen from the rooftop infinity pool

The best moment: golden hour

The terrace faces west, towards the bay. That makes sunset the star moment: the sun drops behind the city and the pool doubles the sky. It is also the busiest time, so in high season arrive early to grab a front-row lounger or get to the afternoon session soon after it opens.

Seventeen floors, a pool that blurs into the sea and the entire Benidorm skyline: the Selvático is not a viewpoint, it is the viewpoint.

Beyond the pool

The Selvático is the cherry on top, but the hotel backs it up: the Exótico restaurant on the ground floor, the Oasis Bar by the main pool, a gym and the Thai Room for massages. We cover it all in the complete Hotel Primavera Park guide.

And if you are still choosing an area, here is our guide to where to stay in Benidorm.
